Celebrate the Fourth of July in Marietta! Bring the family out for a day full of music, food, and of course, fireworks! We put together a list of four ways to celebrate the Fourth of July in Marietta:

Attend the parade and festival

The City of Marietta’s 4th in the Park Celebration begins Saturday, July 3rd. The parade begins at 10:00am at Roswell Street Baptist Church and travels west on Roswell Street, north on East Park Square past Glover Park and the Square, down Cherokee Street and ends at North Marietta Parkway. The end of the parade marks the start of the festival. Food concessions, arts and crafts and carnival will provide plenty to do for the whole family.

10:00am-9:00pm Festival – Arts & Crafts, Kid’s Zone, Festival Food, Free Concerts

2:00pm Bell Ringing Ceremony
2:30pm Concert featuring Atlanta Concert Band
7:00pm Concert featuring Scott Thompson
8:00pm – 9:30pm Concert featuring Bogey and the Viceroy

Head to the brewery

Turn up the heat all weekend long at Glover Park Brewery. The brewery will be open starting at 11am on Saturday, July 3rd. Listen to live music by Leah Belle Faser from 2pm-5pm and get your face painted at the same time. Mule House Pizza and Pelicans Snoballs will be at the brewery to fuel up.

Explore Marietta with the family

Spend a whole day in Marietta! After the parade and checking out the festival, be sure to take the family to check out all the shops in the area. Work up an appetite and choose from one of the many restaurants in Marietta. As a remarkable city filled with a rich history, Marietta is constantly evolving and growing to offer more to our visitors and residents. With museums, music, live theatre, hiking trails, parks and more, there is always plenty to do.

Watch the fireworks show

End the day with a bang by watching Marietta’s very own firework show. Fireworks light up the sky and patriotic music fills the air at dark. The fireworks are shot from the parking lot of the Marietta First United Methodist Church. If inclement weather is expected, the fireworks may begin a few minutes early, to ensure the entire display is completed. Snag a spot early for a good view of the show.
