4 Ways to Celebrate the Fourth of July in Marietta

Celebrate Independence Day in Marietta! Bring the family out for a day full of music, food, and of course, fireworks! We put together a list of four ways to celebrate the Fourth of July in Marietta:

Attend the parade and festival

The parade begins at 10:00am at Roswell Street Baptist Church and travels west on Roswell Street, north on East Park Square past Glover Park and the Square, down Cherokee Street and ends at North Marietta Parkway. The end of the parade marks the start of the festival. Food concessions, arts and crafts and carnival will provide plenty to do for the whole family.

10:00am-9:00pm Festival – Arts & Crafts, Kid’s Zone, Festival Food, Free Concerts

12:00pm Concert featuring Scott Thompson

2:00pm Bell Ringing Ceremony

2:30pm Concert featuring Atlanta Concert Band

7:00pm Concert featuring Chris Stalcup

8:00pm – 9:30pm Concert featuring A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show

Head to the brewery

Turn up the heat all weekend long at Glover Park Brewery. The brewery will be open from 10am-7pm on the Fourth of July. Don’t miss your chance to buy a Glover Park Brewery Fourth of July shirt! Watch the crew in the parade and afterwards, head back to the brewery for live music, great beer, and fun for the whole family.

Watch the fireworks show

The Fourth of July wouldn’t be the same without fireworks. End the day with a bang by watching Marietta’s very own firework show. Fireworks light up the sky and patriotic music fills the air at dark – around 9:30 pm. The fireworks are shot from the parking lot of the Marietta First United Methodist Church. If inclement weather is expected, the fireworks may begin a few minutes early, to ensure the entire display is completed. Snag a spot early for a good view of the show.

Celebrate freedom at The Aviation Wing of Marietta’s FreedomFest 2019

For the first time, The Aviation Wing is excited to enrich the local community and host FreedomFest 2019. From 12pm-10pm, explore the aviation wing while enjoying live music, food and games. In addition, everyone can show their patriotism and appreciation of the men and women who serve our country by writing a personal message of freedom’s meaning on the giant “FREEDOM WALL.” Stay until dark and view the fireworks show.
