KSU Mechatronics Day 2019 Robotics Competition
December 6 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pmFree
The freshman Robotics Competition at Kennesaw State University is a long-standing tradition in the Mechatronics Engineering Program. First year students compete with robots they have designed, built, and tested. Following a robot design – from inception to completion – in a one-semester project is a notable achievement; taking into account, most of the competing students have no prior experience with such technology. Competitions include both remote control and autonomous elements and additional points are allocated when the robot operates without human direction. This is a great STEM event for anyone who loves robots! The main event is a live robotics tournament where Kennesaw State University students, in the Introduction to Mechatronics course, compete for fame and glory. Engineering student competition teams will present with live interactive demos of autonomous vehicles and robots. K-12 groups are encouraged to attend and participate. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available at the parking deck located at 810 Polytechnic Lane, Marietta, GA 30060.
