Marietta Square Art Walk

During this unprecedented time, we need art more than ever. Enjoy this online presentation of Art Walk as you explore the galleries of the Marietta Square. The galleries of the Marietta Square will host a Virtual Art Walk at 5pm Friday, May 1, 2020 at onlineartwalk.com and via Facebook and Instagram platforms. Collectively, the galleries represent over 200 artists and offer a vast array of quality artistic offerings with diverse mediums and presentations.

 

Marietta Museum of History

Need some educational videos to show the kiddos? Learn about the rich history of Marietta without having to leave your house! The Marietta Museum of History has been posting Facebook Lives with behind the scenes tours of the Kennesaw House and more! Marietta Cobb Museum of Art

Tap into your creative side with our friends at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art with Arty Party Videos. Paint a beach or learn the basics of paper weaving. Marietta Murals

M2R TrailFest began in 2018 and introduced a mural tour, sculpture garden, mile-long fence gallery, and numerous performances stretching along two miles of the downtown Marietta urban walking and biking trail, the Mountain to River Trail. Since then, murals have been seen all over Marietta. Explore the murals from your home and be inspired to create your own masterpieces!

 

Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum

The Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum started a Scarlett O’Hara Fashion Show on Facebook. Each Tuesday, they will profile one of Scarlett’s iconic dresses, posting info about it, photos of her from the film, and their own reproduction. Online shoppers receive free shipping and a complimentary copy of Scarlett and Me by Anne Edwards, for purchases of $15 or more. Be sure to check out their Facebook page for the weekly fashion show and virtual tours of the museum.

 

Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre

Pop some popcorn and join our friends from The Strand as they provide a virtual double feature of two classic movies on Fridays at 8pm. Join them Saturday night at 8 for a virtual concert of home grown original music! Like them on Facebook for updates.
