Taste of Marietta “Know Before You Go”

Taste of Marietta “Know Before You Go”

With Taste of Marietta right around the corner, Marietta residents are anxiously anticipating one of the largest and longest running festivals in Atlanta. Though extremely exciting, the event may be overwhelming for first-time attendees. To avoid any confusion, keep reading to ensure your safety and preparedness by knowing all of the festival’s ins and outs before you go!

ABOUT – Taste of Marietta is an annual food festival showcasing restaurants and caterers hailing exclusively from Cobb County. Taking place on the last Sunday of April, the festival is held right in the Historic Marietta Square. Thousands of people usually attend Taste of Marietta, and we are prepared for an incredible turnout again this year.

WHAT TO EXPECT – Despite the name of the festival, tasting dishes from dozens of vendors will not be the only activity on your agenda. Entertainment will be spread all throughout the festival, grabbing the attention of attendees with a food judging competition, live music and fun and games in the Kids Alley. The best part? Admission is FREE! The only costs are for food items, which vary from $1.00 to $5.00 depending on vendor discretion.

FEATURED CONCERTS – Every year, live music fills Glover Park during Taste of Marietta. This year, Featured Concerts will include the Chip McGuire band and pop hits band, Forever Young. Be sure to purchase a concert table reservation for front row seats. Tables can be purchased by calling 770-429-1115.

VENDORS – Dozens of restaurants, food trucks and caterers will be present to showcase their tastiest creations to Marietta. At our last festival, some of our most popular restaurants included Deep Fried Brownies, Dave Poe’s BBQ, and Stockyard Burgers & Bones. This year, we look forward to seeing some friendly faces as well as some newcomers serving some of the most delicious dishes Cobb County has to offer.

PARKING – Available parking lots include the Cobb County Parking Deck, the Mill Street lot, and all county court lots. Though fees may apply to the deck and county court lots, the Mill Street lot is free. Please visit the City of Marietta’s online parking map for more details. Please remember that parking will NOT be permitted at Marietta-area Churches.

The Marietta Visitors Bureau hosts this delicious event in conjunction with the City of Marietta.
